I've practiced yoga since 2007 and taught since 2014. I believe that yoga is the medicine we need today, and I'm so passionate about sharing with people everyday tools that they can use to stay connected to their hearts.
A really good yoga class not only builds physical vitality, but soothes our nerves, provides quiet space for self-discovery reflection, and allows us to connect with the deeper layers of ourselves that we otherwise may forget, bringing us into alignment with our hearts.
My mission is to make transformative yoga experiences accessible by creating a warm, welcoming sanctuary for my students every class I teach. I really love my job!
I teach weekly public classes at Urban Breath Yoga in St. Louis. I teach a broad spectrum of class styles, but my sweet spot is a joyful, expressive flow that borrows movement from dance and Chi Gong, and encourages people to use their breath to get into their bodies, and their bodies to get into their hearts. I also teach some workshops and retreats in the St. Louis area.
