New Year's Soul Goals

Friends, it’s time for that precious annual New Year ritual; time to take stock of the past year, to distill the lessons you learned, and to tune in to where life is leading you next.  Join Jackie on Saturday, January 2, 7-8:30 pm for an evening workshop that will help you create the right conditions to move forward into a new year with clarity, creativity, and curiosity.  

The workshop includes a soothing yoga practice appropriate for any level of experience, a Yoga Nidra deep relaxation, journaling prompts for reflection, and guidance on creating your New Year’s goals. The evening concludes with an option to share with the group.

​The content is based on the life-affirming questions: what if spiritual practice does not require transcendance? What if this human life is the path to the Ultimate; is our spiritual playground, battlefield, and teacher? Your lifetime here is sacred, mysterious, magical and meaningful. 

This workshop draws from the Bhagavad Gita, the instinctive mediation approach of Lorn Roche, Yoga Nidra and sankalpa, the contemporary yoga philosophy of Coby Kozlowski, Seane Corn’s approach to service and action; as well as the wisdom of non-yogis including Glennon Doyle, Rob Bell, and Richard Rohr.

You may already know that "practicing yoga" goes beyond postures and stretches. At its core, yoga offers an opportunity to heal yourself, to really connect with people, to feel yourself as part of a greater whole, to align your beliefs with your actions, and to strengthen your inner conviction that you can handle whatever life throws at you. The beautiful thing about yoga is: these life-changing shifts grow out of consistent, manageable daily practice.Join us for a four-week virtual Zoom series this November. Each session includes 30 minutes of physical practice, suitable for all levels of experience, and one hour of learning, discussion, and journaling on an element of yoga practice.

September Reset: At-Home Yoga Retreat
